Abi Greenhough has been approved by the Financial Conduct Authority and was deemed to have the training and experience necessary to undertake the role of Compliance and Money Laundering Officer (MLRO)for Lily Head Finance. Abi has been approved as the firms SMF16 status. Abi replaces Martin How, our Managing Director in this role only. Martin has held the SMF 16 role since the firm was authorised in July 2020.

The training the FCA require must be:
- Relevant to the business of the firm that the candidate is working at.
- Recent and up to date, with relevant knowledge of the current regulatory rules and expectations.
- Detailed enough to give the individual the knowledge to carry out the role. (short ‘introductory’ courses, on their own, don’t provide enough coverage or depth to be useful for a head of compliance or MLRO, even in the smallest firms).
